Karann Schaller

Karann started her training in stained glass design and fabrication in 2001.  She utilizes lead came and copper foil techniques, incorporating other mediums such as enamel paint, paper collage, etching, and wood laser-cut elements.  She accepts commissions and repairs, and particularly enjoys historic restorations with complex challenges or detailed decorative molded lead work.  She also makes jewelry, painted stone mandalas, and decorative stained glass art.  In 2020, Karann started Sunlight Artistry, working out of a new studio located in the Whiting Mills artists' community in Winsted, CT.  She sells her work from her studio and at local art shows and galleries.  She is currently very involved in the Makers Shoppes at Whiting Mills, a cooperative of artists located in the mill.
